Albright A. Banibensu is a Counselling Psychologist (Clinical/Guidance Counselling) and Lead Consultant of Bridge-PIC. He is also an Educationist and a Social Worker.
He has full membership of the Ghana Psychological Association and Christian Connections for International Health, USA and he is a Member in good standing with the Ghana Psychology Council, the State Regulator of Psychologists.
He is a trove of both local and international experience through years of working with CrossRoads, Development Associates Int’l, Mission Moving Mountains, Global Media Outreach and the Police Hospital, Ghana where he had his clinical attachment at the VCT unit in 2003.
In Africa, his clients and audience span the whole of English speaking Africa including countries like South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Nigeria and Botswana.
Albright is the Team Director of two companies, namely Bridge-PIC and BIM. Their combined line of operation is in consultancy, clinical/guidance counselling, whole life education, biopsychosocial services and wellbeing supplies. He is in demand as one of the most creative facilitators and counsellors. His desire for people, especially the youth to discover their potential and to make right choices in life is so strong that he has several workshops and speaking appointments all year round. He has pursued his lifetime mission of comforting the hurting, developing people and transforming lives over the past twenty-one (21) years with great success and fulfillment.
Albright A. Banibensu had his academic and professional grooming in Ghana, South Africa and the USA (Via GMO). He is a graduate of the University of Ghana, Legon with a BA (Hons) in Psychology and Linguistics. He then travelled to South Africa to be trained in a behaviour change communication skills curriculum. He came back to pursue a unique hybrid programme of Clinical Counselling /Guidance Counselling and earned his MPhil. Albright also has academic credentials separately in the fields of Managerial Leadership, Theology, and Social Work. He, however, believes that his relationship with his parents was his most important experience, choosing to train initially as a teacher was a good choice and branching into mental health is the best life choice!
Albright is married to a wonderful woman and they have three lovely but boisterous children.
